i am 100% pro-breastfeeding and a huge supporter of nursing whenever your baby is hungry or needs comforting, no matter where you are, but for goodness sake, your WHOLE boob doesn't have to be flopped out of your shirt

BOTH BOOBS NEED TO BE OUT. at all times. Air is good for my nipples.

I've honestly never seen anyone else NIP (other than at my LLL meetings or the Natural Parenting store near my office.) I try to be discreet, but usually Finn pops off and sprays everything and everybody so covering up doesn't really do much good. :)

i think a lot of discretion is achieved by raising, rather than lowering, the shirt. I don't understand just pulling down the neck of your shirt to nurse in public. that said, I have boobs that require greater coverage from a bra than would allow over-the-top-flop.
