So, I've moved to Boulder. I have been completely busy since the second I arrived here... it's been crazy! We got here on Tuesday afternoon just before 5:00. Met my landlady, saw the apartment, met the building people, got my security card, moved ALLLL my stuff in from the U-Haul, and then Dad and I went in search of somewhere to eat dinner. Well, my trip to Buffalo and Camp was absolutely terrific! I left on Saturday (the 24th) and met up with my parents and my brother for lunch. We went to Natalie's and then my brother went off on his bike and my dad and I swapped cars (so I have mine back now!!). After lunch I stopped by the Horton's and spent the afternoon with them. Yesterday Katie and I went to the beach all afternoon and it was wonderful!! It was the most beautiful day yet, which fit perfectly for the first day of summer. We got back around five and went to the farmer's market and then walked around downtown where I wound up buying this sweet pair of red heels, originally $45, on sale for $17. I have ( Read more... )

Of course, yesterday, when I had the entire day off, it was cloudy. Today, when I have to work a 12 hour shift, it's sunny.

So far, the summer has been quite relaxing. I'm in the middle of my three days off this week from the diner. After working five days straight, averaging 8 to 9 hours per shift spent entirely on my feet, it's definitely been a nice break. Unfortunately, the weather has been kinda crappy.
