Success! I did finish my dragon puppeteer piece! I tried for a more painterly style in this one.

Thanks! I had the full background in the color mockup, but I don't remember if I posted that here at LJ, or if I only posted the pencils and inks.

It was really the background that saved this piece, I was struggling with it until I decided it just needed a GIANT MOON. ;)

I think this picture was a level up. It seems to have some spark of life or character that's really been lacking before. Now if I can just continue this way! ;)
