Photo Shoot!

Apr 12, 2009 16:08

So, Phil was bored yesterday afternoon, and I was free. We'd talked about doing a photo shoot with some of my costumes back in January or February.

And yesterday, because it was sunny, and more than 5 degrees, we did one!

I hauled out my Eris costume - www.flickr.com/photos/enguehard/sets/72157616636250190/
And my blue Kimono - www.flickr.com/photos/Read more... )

It's really odd. I barely recognize you with your glasses off. Granted, it's been a really long time since I've actually seen you at all.

awww. When you get home I'll have to show you the outfit Mae gave me for Christmas. It actively invites those comments. ^_^

If you're going to show the outfit from this christmas, might as well pull out the one from last christmas too...and the dress. All I need to say is..the dress.

They are adorable, I'm glad you now have great pics of your Kimono cause that's always been an awesome costume and you did a beautiful job. I like the landscape oriented one, the gritty one, and the oen in the trees. The crocus one was nice but I found it a little blurry compared to the crispness of the others.
The Eris outfit is adorable as well! I like the sitting ones myself and the shot from the skirt down is super cute! the ones with the tree are interesting too.
Tip formodellign on sunny days. let the photographer know it's making you squint so that you can close your eyes until it's time to take the picture, the photogrwpher will let you know when he's shooting and you open them. It'll take a second for the squinting to set in and that's when you get your pic. Totally works! Had to do it on a photoshoot I did in a playground once. It was a cloudless, sunny day and they had a gold reflector...I'm surprised I can still see to this today!

I kind of liked the softness that the crocus one had.

Thanks for the tip! ^^ I'll remember it. Maybe if you're free the next time we do one, we'll drag you along and you can show me some awesome poses. XD
