[Dinner Date] -- [Bill and Kirk]

Nov 11, 2009 09:41

Kirk wasn't entirely sure what the night was going to end up like, but he had some ideas if the party was to say anything. The fact that Bill had agreed to a dinner date at all, when Kirk gave him a definite out on it, was a very pleasant surprise. The way the actor had come straight onto him, even a bit more strongly then Jim himself, and how he ( Read more... )

"Captain's Procedure Four-Two-One, Clearance Kirk-One-Three-Three-Eight." Kirk called out. After all, he had programmed it right after the other one. It did nearly the same thing but it would allow Bones and Spock up here, but allowed a single recording device.

Kirk flopped down into his chair, feeling it warmed, and sighed as he closed his eyes. "Captain's Log... Stardate..." Hell, he had to think about it. "2258.317. Sometimes... Life sucks." He smirked, leaning back. "End Recording."

His eyes flickered from Jim's, recalling memories from his past, both recent and not. The spark against his skin when he felt his counterpart touch his temple, his father guiding him through his first meld, others...

"No." He finally answered. "It does not. It is...better." Not the most exact term, but it sufficed.

Better. Hm, he sort of liked that. Kirk's smile grew into a smirk and he leaned lightly into Spock's hand. "...show me." Whispered quietly, tilting his head a tiny bit, "Show me more about it?" More about the melds themselves, about the shielding he was never going to learn at any rate.

His hand moved off the points to brush Jim's cheek, his fingers trailing off his jaw by the tattoo and then his hand resting on his shoulder. "This would not be the most adequate state to teach you, nor the place. At another time, when you will be able to concentrate." And he kissed him, something light and almost chaste--perhaps to prove his point.

Kirk was a little surprised at the brush off, but the kiss was nice. Can't get any in this chair. He thought to himself, a smirk on his lips as the hand cleared his skin. Kirk gave a small, breathy laugh and just for a second, tugged Spock in for a real kiss.

"Come on... get somewhere warmer and get some sleep? My quarters? Bigger bed."

"Your quarters are not warm," Spock corrected him; it certainly wasn't as warm as his quarters with Nyota. "However, you do possess the larger bed." That was all the agreement he would give him, before beginning to move off of his lap.

Kirk made a small mental note about that little bit of information. "Warmer then the bridge." He defended his quarters, a little, and stood up once Spock had slid from his chair. He gave what could have definitely been labeled as a pleading look towards his chair, a tiny bit ticked about having to get blocked twice from anything happening in it, and called out, "End Captain's Procedure, Clearance Kirk-One-Epsilon-Epsilon-Eight."

"Acknowledged. Procedure ended."

And he walked over to the turbolift, raising his eyebrows at Spock.

After noting Jim's look and annoyance, Spock followed him into the turbolift. He stood at his side in an easy parade rest.

Until he didn't, and his hand briefly slid into Jim's in a sly and mostly-hidden movement between them. Do not mourn, Jim. Your chair and I shall remain on this ship, with you, as long as you desire us here. There will be other opportunities.
