They had to find Spock. Had to. He concentrated on that feeling, plowing forward step by step through the thick snow, hoping it was still towards Sybok.
He didn't see the snow thicken right at his side, and something hit him and Bones hard, sending them both flying.

And when the ringing stopped, he didn't feel any better.
Sybok turned his head as he heard the crunch of snow over the howl of the wind, saw two figures approaching through the storm. He pulled himself to his feet and staggered over to them. "Captain?" He shouted over the blizzard; the cold-weather uniforms weren't exactly discriminating between ranks, so he had to take a guess.

"Sir?" Life? Was it someone from their away mission or someone from this blasted colony?

"The captain asked that I transport down," Sybok told them both, and then waved out a hand towards the endless ice. "Do you know where he is?"

Hank grabbed the tail end of the rope. "Sorry about this." And tied him into the rope with them. "We're looking for the Captain. This planet is...weird."

"Where did you come from?" His hand tightened over the rope leading out from the loop around his waist.

"So." He looked at either of them, rubbing his hands together to get some feeling back into them. "Our captain and CMO are likely trapped in a blizzard we can't search through. Who wants to tell the Enterprise?"
