Had a lovely week. My parents and Ian's parents have been over to eat, drink and inspect the new bathroom (thumbs up all round) which is now FINISHED apart from the small matter of needing a new hot water cylinder so that we can shower for more than 15 minutes at a time. Sweet...icampbell and I just booked our Graspop tickets and flights. Although it's not anywhere near as cheap as last year (less euros for your pound of course, and Ryanair not managing to offer any bargain flights when we want them) I still think it's money very well spent. My writer mate Guy is trying to get his first book published - I've read some bits of it and it's reeeeeally good! However, while he's got an agent and support from the Arts Council, he hasn't yet found a publisher. Therefore he's set up a website and is trying to publicise it.
