Amai (the baby pictured in my previous post) arrived here alive and well. He's adjusting, albeit slowly. I'd forgotten how skittish baby beardies are! It's a struggle to hang onto him sometimes; he can move really fast when he wants to. I was right to be cautious.  He's not coming this week.  He's now saying the fifth.  I don't believe that either.

So, first the good news.  I'm sleeping at night again.  This has a tremendous positive effect on my state of mind.  I no longer feel like I'm out of control.  I'm aware that I'm still depressed, but it's at a level I can manage.  Not having much money doesn't help, but at least I have enough to cover the essentials ( Read more... )
