Yes! I actually had an entire series of ATAC pictures last year - I left my crim class at break and never came back, but somehow still managed to be in the building until after classes ended.
I haven't noticed those but you think I would have..I walk that hallway on a daily basis.
Wow, these are awesome. I feel like I've been there! I love the one in the lecture hall especially, and the wall where it randomly says "TALL." That is pretty fantastic.
Thank you! That's my favourite lecture hall, actually. Lakehead is a juxtaposition of old and new buildings, and the brick-on-concrete-on-wood look really appeals to me in that lecture theatre.
I'm late to the party...but these are so pretty! I really need a digital camera. (So that I can attempt to take pictures as nice as these and just end up looking like a pretentious mofo. Heh.)
Thank you, Affi! And just think - you could have known these buildings first hand or something. Ha. You should get a digital camera! and I should get a better one. You and Cindy should collaborate on Operation: Carleton pictures.
You know, the campus looks beautiful (and CLEAN!), and I don't doubt that Lakehead is a wonderful university...but all I need to do is look at the pictures you took a while ago of all that snow, or read one of your entries about the weather in Thunder Bay, and then I know I made the right decision to stay right here in Ottawa. ;) Hee.
I was supposed to go out and get my digital camera this weekend, but they sold out! I am OUTRAGED.
You and Cindy should collaborate on Operation: Carleton pictures.
That does sound like a good idea in theory, but I think if we ever tried anything like that, it would just turn into Operation: Random People's Asses pictures. Or something equally ridiculous and horrifying.
Does it look clean? in a lot of the pictures I was afraid that it would showcase how dirty the school can be...maybe it's not that dirty after all. Apparently we don't get that much colder than Ottawa, but there's still no place like home.
Absolutely gorgeous! I hope you don't mind my comments. I'm a friend of Noel's and originally from Thunder Bay. You have some gorgeous sets of pictures here, and have a good eye, thank you for showing me a bit of home. (Currently in Sudbury for Graphic Design). If you have msn, I'd love to talk to you! -- grargh@hotmail.com
