I was a teenager in the 80's, so I absolutely loved all the flashbacks this just gave me! I still have a turntable and all those same records David had! :) Loved this!

Hee, yay! I'm glad there are more of us than I thought. I felt like I was risking alienating 90% of Cookleta, lmao. Man, the 80s were good times.

Ahhh! The flashbacks! Make them stop! Haha. Just kidding. No playlist needed for me to know what music you're referring to. Between my older brother and me, but mostly him, we had all these bands covered in our record/cassette tape collection. I was more of a Bon Jovi/Def Leppard fan and he was a fan of hair bands/metal in general - KISS, Ratt, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, everyone you noted above, etc. Basically I grew up with this music because of my brother.

Anyway. Enough of Melissa's music background. :P

This fic was adorable! The part where David fell into the pile shirt like it was leaves made me grin so hard. I can totally picture David doing something goofy like that. And cleaning while dancing to this music. :D I was grinning like a fool through the whole fic actually. Loved the subtle sexiness where Cook was singing "Talk Dirty to Me" to David while they swayed against each other. The end was fantastic - Dr. Feelgood indeed. ;)

Glad to see fic from you again! Any Avalanche updates in the works? *grabby hands* ♥

Yeah, I mostly knew this music thanks to older siblings too since I was born in 1980 and a little young when most of it came out. So thanks to them for being older and exposing me! :D

I'm glad you liked the shirt pile falling, I giggled when it came to mind. I totally thought he would do that for reals.

As it happens I'm getting back to Avalanche right now! I think the last time I told you guys I was doing it then and clearly I was lying. *sigh* It's coming, promise! Also, how flattered am I that you asked that? You're awesome. :D
