My cousin told me Sherman Alexie died and I TOTALLY FREAKED OUT. I kind of thought she might be wrong but I couldn't bring myself to look into it, just in case she was right.

But he's still alive. That's a relief. WHERE DO MY COUSINS GET THEIR INFORMATION?

OH MY GOD I TOTALLY HAD A HEART ATTACK AFTER READING THE FIRST FEW WORDS OF THIS ENTRY. I JUST SAT THROUGH A LECTURE ABOUT SHERMAN ALEXIE AND HIS "ABSOLUTELY TRUE DIARY OF A PART-TIME INDIAN." HE'S ONLY 41, ACCORDING TO MY PROFESSOR, WHICH IS WAY TOO YOUNG TO DIE.

You'd really like "Diary." It's part graphic novel and very enjoyable. His writing reminds me a lot of your style, actually. :) Read it and tell me if you can see what I mean.
