I didn't hear any of you proclaiming love for The Arcade Fire. Why not? What the hell is wrong with you? They are FUCKING AWESOME. I went to their show in a cynical frame of mind because the novelty of the album had faded to a lovely depository glow quite some time ago and I was knocked stupid by their performance--the fervor completely reignited.

yeah that was the point...all the critics RAVED but nobody on my livejournal friends list! they deserve every bit of hype they get, though.
