It's scary to think someone young and healthy can be feeling fine and then suddenly be critically ill after a seemingly minor mishap. I hugged Eric extra tight today just in case. I'm so thankful for the health and well being of everyone I love, and a story like this makes me more so. I hope her family can cope without her.

I just made myself a peanut butter and brown sugar sandwich... I'm not gonna lie, it's my new favorite thing.

Winter.

We managed to get 16 people into this tiny little apartment in semi-comfort. I think we can easily entertain groups of 12 from now on. I really do love playing hostess too. Fussing over everybody to make sure their drinks are filled, and chatting with everyone makes me very happy. Just what the doctor ordered in the dreary, dark days of winter ( Read more... )
