in other news, tomorrow is the two-hour season finale of LOST. consider me excited.

kim told me yesterday that our mother recently spent $400 on a pair of dolce and gabbana sunglasses.

this, from a woman who regularly shops the clearance racks at kohl's and prides paying $4 for a pair of pants.

everything i've ever known my whole life has turned upside down.

and i'd really like to borrow those sunglasses.

as far as major life events go, graduating from graduate school is pretty high up there, i think. maybe that's because i feel pretty strongly about academia, but when i graduate it'll be like the highlight of my life.

yesterday, ron got his masters in accounting.
