I'm still alive.  Haven't really been doing very much.
Bought a bicycle, but sadly it's been raining too much to take it out much.
Been writing patches to random (simple) bugs on launchpad.
Been playing with the kitten (who still loves to gnaw on my toes).
Been enjoying the new grill (when it's not raining).

All-in-all, it's life as normal.

Note. When installing Win2008 and you're having issues with your auto-install stuff... Hit Shift-F10. Then check the log file in x:\windows\panther.  It will save you a week of confusion.

Guess I'll start logging what apps have been tried, since there's so many out there.

I've been tinkering with the Netflix API for a few days now. Today, I fudged together a "working" Python library for making requests. Now to parse the query results and do useful things.

And now I get my first mortgage bill!  Lots of first time stuff.

I mowed my lawn today.  MY LAWN.
Spent weeks coaxing the grass seed to grow, with constant watering.  And now I'm chopping it away.

It's still pretty patchy, but it's grass on my land (well, mostly the mortgage company's land so far...)
