I'm excited that Tracy, CP, and Mindy have said they want to join in!  Woot!

It sounds like Dec. 17 will be the best start date.  I'll check with Kat and Diane about their exams, but for now, we'll plan for this.

Here is my list of Discworld Books that I have yet to read or want to re-read.  Tracy, could you copy it and delete the ones you don't want ( Read more... )

Did you dislike Wee Free Men? Or did you stop for time reasons? Said more plainly: do you want it taken off the list of possibilities? :D

That is the wrong question to ask me. I honestly wouldn't mind re-reading any of them. Any book you guys want to read will be fine with me, although I can give an opinion on which book/arc to start on.

I notice you don't have Soul Music under Death books?

Opinion on which book/arc to start on will be good.

I don't have Soul Music under Death books because I currently don't want to read it. I liked it and will reread it some day, but I'd much rather re-read Mort or Thief of Time. (Reaper Man is missing for similar reasons)

Ah okay, that's why then.

Well, I don't really know what sort of books everyone likes, but the Hogfather is my favorite for this time of year. Anything for the Night Watch is good, although Night Watch is confusing by itself without a good knowledge of all of the characters. Going Postal is another good one to start.

The only book I own is Mort (under your indirect suggestion, I think) and I haven't read it, so I'm game for any of them! Told you I probably haven't. XD

Um...it might be easier for me to list what I haven't read. Most I have read before, and many of them I already own.

Rincewind Novels
Interesting Times
The Last Hero

Miscellaneous
Unseen Academicals

Young Adult Novels
All of them.

What about ones you'd like to read again?

All of them.

Honestly, my love for Prachett knows no bounds whatsoever. His books are worth every re-read! :D

Hello,
Bear with me as I figure out the live journal thing, How the ohter online bookclubs that I have studied read stalked have worked have been something like this: the book is split into easy to read chunks of 100 pages in a week so that everyone reads that section on pages and comments on that section they can read at thier own rate but we will discuss on a message board the section that was set up for that time, Spoilers are inevitable but should be posted in a different color or with lots of warning so that people can skip or read at thier own wish.
