My Biggest FaceBook Pet Hate

I just had an old high school acquaintance add me on FaceBook. She has her baby son’s face for her profile picture and for every album cover on her photo page. I can’t remember what she looks like.

HA!!! This made me laugh. I too hate people like this. I have "friends" from school who now have at least one child and their facebook page is like a shirne to their offspring?! I hope when I have children and get married I still have a personality. To be honest, the thing I really don't like is when people put their baby scan pictures up... and then have it as their profile picture! The scan pictures are the most private pictures I think! I would certainly not put it online for the world to see.

I think part of me has been put off having children or getting married because I don't want my children or husband to define me. I've spent the past 23-odd years developing self-awareness and my own sense of identity, it seems stupid and a bit of a waste for me to then decide to ignore all that hard work, soul searching and (in some cases) money well spent to throw it away for another person - or to develop one

You're right, when any one thing at all becomes someone's whole life, I find it extremely irratating and don't want to be around that person any more. Variety is the spice of life after all!

That's a good point about the 'being a good wife' thing. Haha, did they just not bother before their marriage?

That annoys me too. I've one album dedicated to Julia, as my relations in other countries like to see her. But Jesus Christ, I've other things in life too!

I also hate it when people only talk about how terrible their job is. I had to remove someone who had nothing but entries of how much he hates his job. Why keep updating the same thing D:
