I think this is one of my favorite stories ever. I was hooked in just a few words by the wonderful details, the gorgeous setting, everything was so vivid, full of color and feeling. Your OCs were fascinating people, the way they were hunters were so different to the way Sam and Dean were, but believable and sensible. Plus I'm immediately attracted to anyone who likes and respects the boys. The whole story was soaked through with Sam's longing for his brother--There is no anodyne for longing so perfectly describes the way Sam felt, and I doubt that any of us make it through life without feeling just that way at some point. That they found they both felt the same way made for a very satisfying ending.
