Absolutely superb. It's a story with everything: a riveting, disturbing case; beautifully drawn OCs; history and taste and smell and sound; and Sam and Dean, together but uncertain, hurting, afraid, longing.

Superb, simply put.

Thank you so much! I was just dying for those old-school Season 2 casefile fics, that were all about some ghost/monster/mystery/etc. revealing to Sam and Dean the extent of their ~true love~, and so wanted to write one. :D

I loved the case; it was scary and the perfect way for the boys to come together. Plus, they got to eat shrimp and grits...yum. m :)

Thank you And oh yes, the FOOD. My grandmother lives outside Charleston, and I went to college at C of C, so I have eaten A LOT of shrimp and grits in my time. :D

I really enjoyed your story-- I almost feel like I've been to Charleston and seen the house and the graveyard. It was a nice creepy case too, and Sam's worry and love shone through the whole thing. Thanks for sharing.
