last night i played smash bros while babysitting. it was me (as kirby, of course) and level 5 luigi against two 11 year olds. i beat them twice, once timed and once stock on 10, the second time jim switched from sheik to luigi and it is impossible for me to beat jim when he plays as luigi, so i lost. but i totally schooled them the first round, ( Read more... )

today rob and i saw "little miss sunshine" it was as good as i expected. we have really gotten into watching "The office" with steve carrell and thought this would be a fun movie to see, since he's in it and the previews/reviews have all said good things. i was not disapointed i laughed so hard. but it also has it's sad and poignant moments, so ( Read more... )

um, yeah, so this is me writing about school. it is very weird to be back there after all that time away. i know it wasn't a super long time or anything, but it was long enough. i didn't really work this week so i went to classes without knowing how things will go adding in the nannying but so far so good ( Read more... )

that's right folks, i've finally done it, i registered for some classes. technically it's 3 classes, but only 7 hours. however, i'm really happy with that. i can get in and get my feet wet and continue on with my work which has become very important to me and not be too overwhelmed. so there is much rejoicing.

man, i've been busy. i think this is the first week ever that i didn't work for some part of every day. and there was a period of two weeks where i had maybe one day off. i stayed over night with the kids while mom and dad had a night off. it wasn't too terrible, but parents have a seriously modified schedule, since the kids get up at 6:30 am ( Read more... )
