Hubby and I were watching TV tonight and we heard a ruckus behind us. Now, like most pet owners, we have a basket full of cat toys that hardly ever get used. Sammy usually pushes most of the toys out of the way and sleeps in the basket (weirdo). Hubby looks back and sees Itty Bitty Harry Kitty in the basket, taking out toys. when we brought little black kitty vera inside, she puttered around the house for a few days, finding her way, and then she found the basket of toys - holy crap, you could just see her face light up and her brain explode. she was an outside kitten, and never had toys before! so she spent the next hour and a half completely emptying the basket and covering the living room floor with kitty toys.

cats are fun.

Hee hee hee! The thing is, he's seen this basket of toys before - it's not like it's a new thing. But last night he just decided to take a bunch out and before he could play, he caught a case of the "Oh look! Shiny!" and would get distracted by another toy.

Cats are fun. My life would be so boring without them.
