While driving through a rather woodsy part of town . . .

Me: I don't fear an ax-welding murderers in the woods, I fear nature coming out of nowhere.

Hubby: Weirdo. That's not natural.

For those of you who don't know Hubby, he is SMART. Like painfully smart. Probably more Leonard than Sheldon smart, but smart. And there are times (more than I'd like to admit) that I feel like Penny when he's talking. Only I'm not as skinny as she is. Nor am I a blonde.

Got an acceptance email from Pitt's School of Public Health.

Hubby: multiplication is just a bunch of pluses!

Hubby: *sees box for my new slippers* Lambskin slippers?

Me: Yeah, I've been wearing them for two days now.

Hubby: They're good enough to wear but not to eat*?

Me: Shut up.

*I refuse to eat "cute" anmimals. No lamb, no mutton, no duck, no venison. I only eat non-cute animals. Like cows. And chickens. And turkeys. And shrimp. Heh.

Hubby: (looks at cover of my book) Isn't that Captain Sheridan's wife?

Me: *dumbstruck*

Hubby and I were watching TV tonight and we heard a ruckus behind us. Now, like most pet owners, we have a basket full of cat toys that hardly ever get used. Hubby: I thought Siamese were. . . wait a minute, we already have THREE cats! No more!

Me: Meanie.

Me: Did you figure out a type of thingy you want for our anniversary? (He wants a new DVD recorder thing)

Hubby: No. Did you figure out what you want?

Me: (pause) I want a Porsche.

Hubby: When you go back to the doctor in two weeks, have him adjust your meds.
