Thank you! I'm going for a Masters in Public Health with a focus on Behavioral and Community Health. More specifically, I want to study health literacy and why/how people get health information.

BTW, are you Dr Metaphoracle now? :)

Interesting! Is that through Comm studies?

I am not yet--am on the dissertating part. Job market next year. If all goes well I'll be Dr. Meta in 2011.

Actually it's in the school of Public Health. Behavioral and Community Health seemed like the least scary of the options and my job now has a small focus on health literacy. I just want to expand it.

Awesome sauce! What is your topic?

Me either. . . GAH! :)

I want to study how people find health information. Too many nursing students (and the occasional med student/resident) come to me and say "I Googled my topic and couldn't find anything." and that makes me go "GAAAAAAHHH!!!"

And I want to write mean spirited papers about Suzanne Sommers and her pseudo-science. Heh.

Thank you! I aspire to be a doctor someday, but not like Dr Chansmcgans. I want to be the type that doesn't actually help people. ;)
