Now that Project Financial Shit is done, time for a new project. I really want to get the house in order. Items of note:

- Need to upgrade the water heater. We currently can’t take a full bath without running out of hot water.

- Need to finish the basement. This is a huge project and I’m not sure what the timeline looks like.

Ok so this financial shit is taking longer than I thought. Apparently I have some resistance to adulting in this way. I made an appointment at the bank for next week to purchase the e-series fund, at least.

Project Financial Shit isn’t done yet - I got partway through and then stalled. I need to make an appointment with TD bank to get an RRSP set up with their e series fund. I need a TFSA, and to finish our budget. So this project is continuing into February.

12 years ago today I went on my first date with Al. That turned out to be a good decision! I remember being nervous and not 100% sure it was actually a date. Also forgetting to put on deodorant that morning.

• Still at the same job

• Still in the same house

• Pets are good. Fondue is all grown up now but still acts puppyish (but has stopped chewing and peeing on things).

• Marriage is good. We maintain a weekly date night.

• I lost the 20 lbs I gained since moving to Calgary

• Sister got married! She and bro-in-law are living in our Regina house
