They finished up early on Saturday night so we could all toddle off to see Doctor Who and on Sunday Kai took a cheering poll on whether or not we liked Matt. The answer was a resounding YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!! \0/
We're giving Hub5 a miss as we've spent quite enough on cons this year, thank you very much, but I'll remind you when Hub6 turns up in case you can find the time/wherewithall to go and we can meet!
Aww, thanks, hon. It was such fun. Lovely to see familiar faces again, both on and off the podium. *huggles*
It really was a fab con. Surprisingly I managed to keep myself pretty much cool and collected with the guests.
That was except for the small incident at the bar on Saturday where I told Ian H.(drunk on my ass) that I had a new favorite word and then proceeded to tell him what it was and he told me it was a very bad word. And then he remembered our discussion the next day when I went to get his autograph. *blush*
It was a classic con, one we'll always remember. Even without John, James or Gareth! Kai, Tom and Eve are perfectly capable of headlining and they seemed to love it. As James once said, in the street he's just another actor; at a con he's Brad Pitt. *g*
LMAO! I was in the bar too but didn't hear that conversation! Do you remember he put on a very good Aussie accent when I said I was Australian? He did it again in the signing line next day. Good memory, sadly for us. ;)
LOL! The poor man looked completely stunned. Huh???
*sporfle*
We did, we did have a brill time! So tempting to sign up for Hub5 in October, but we've got Roadhouse (the SPN con) and limited amounts of time and money, bugger it. Sometimes life just ain't fair. *pouts*
We did! Everyone was on top form, charming and funny, and it was one of the best events we've ever been to. Want to go back and do it all over again. Twice!
