Is therealljidol really still going on? Really? I declared victory in October 2011, so I figured that by now, eight years later, it would be finished.

Eight years later, of course, in cat years. Jeez. The Fat Man asked that I include that "in case somebody reading doesn't know who you are," but, duh, who doesn't know who I am?

My grandson was so taken with your entry and photos. We had to read it twice and go get his mom to read it too. He laughed and laughed. His new kitten this spring is named Shadow and looks like you must have as a youngster. All black and brown eyes. Shadow loves to climb on people ( and dig his claws into my shoulders, ouch!)
I am pre-chewing the chicken for you right now and sending it along.

Shadow is a fine name for a black cat. Remember - its never to early to teach a child quat fu, the ancient art of cat self defense. The secret is, when the cat swats at you, block his swat with a treat. Works every time.
