So Ry saw the urologist this morning and he was supposed to schedule surgery for this week, but since my grandmother has hemophilia caused by Factor 11 deficiency, he instead postponed the surgery and referred Ry to a hematologist for testing to make sure he doesn't have it ( Read more... )

One-handed typing again (nothing dirty, I'm holding the baby you pervs ;) ). Ry's hernia surgery has been pushed back to the beginning of Dec. It's not an emergency and the Dr. wants him to be a little bigger before putting him under general anesthesia.

Other than that: I'm tired, hungry, thirsty, but excited to vote tomorrow!

I think I need to take the baby back and get a refund. He developed an inguinal hernia over the weekend and is going to have to have surgery next week. It's not a major procedure and he's not in any pain, but Jesus, come on kid! If he could go one week without developing a new medical problem, that would be nifty ( Read more... )

typing with one hand here, but the appt. went well. all the initial chromosome tests came back fine and the doc doesn't think he has any genetic disorder or syndrome she's ever seen, but they're running 1 more set of tests to be sure. keep your fingers crossed :).
