Project - more thoughts

A thought I had yesterday, and in talking with someone else they had the same suggestion, is that I may just be able to write the information to a simple text file that can then be recalled each time someone logs in. This would eliminate the database from the equation as long as I truly don't need much else than to more or less make a tick mark

Hah.. not likely. The smaller project I will be getting extra pay for but that's because it'll have to be on my own time for some odd reason.
