Yesterday we came back from our romantic fall getaway. The trip went well (aside from the fact that Maryann caught a cold.) Another great weekend just ended... it included an Alzheimer's Walk with Becky and Kim, an Air & Space museum trip with Maryann and her parents (who visited us this weekend), Roman's housewarming party, lots of studying, and some relaxation time with Maryann. This Saturday, some woman knocked on the door. She turned out to be a volunteer for the Democratic committee. She asked Maryann and me which issues we consider important.

Me: Transportation, jobs, economy, education, crime.
Maryann: Abortion issues, gay rights.

Quite different answers, aren't they?

This was quite a busy weekend. On Friday evening, Maryann and I went to Clarendon to the Iota Club and Cafe. Rosie (my friend from work) invited us there to listen to her brothers perform there. Our vacation is about to end, and back at home I am. It was a fabulous trip, I really love California! Soon, I will put in more details. For now, it will suffice to say that we covered the whole California coast from the Mexican border to Napa Valley. We met with Maryann's friends as well as my friends, and everyone got along fine.
