this week i witnessed several random acts of chauvinism and... well... i'm far less than pleased about any of them.

You know what's funny? Sometimes all I really want to be is a housewife. Also, you should try working for a female manager, they're mean to everyone equally and friendly to everyone equally. Well mine is, unless she just doesn't like you, lol.

most days i dont but sometimes i do too. but i want to be a housewife bc *I* want to be... not bc some guy expects me to wait on him hand and foot. i love taking care of people and i really do believe that some day ill make a great wife and mother. i just pissed me off that this random guy said that to me without knowing anything about me.

and my direct manager is a woman and i adore her. shes a bitch and she keeps all the guys on their toes and whips them into shape when theyre being assholes and i love her. but her boss is dan and we both take a lot of shit from him. lord i hate him.

Yeah, that guy was out of line. Whenever I see or talk to people like that, who are clearly from a different time and their values don't really hold anymore, I just remember that most of their generation is going to be gone soon. Which is kind of a horrible thought, but that's life I guess.

actually sadly this guy was only like late 30s or so. i thought wed come so far and for the past week ive just been bombarded with such sexism. i hate it. im a perfectly capable human being with intelligent thoughts and reasoning and guys look at me and because i have boobs, they simplify me to be just a silly girl.

discrimination of any sort is absolutely infuriating. sometimes i wish murder was legal. lol.
