Alright, I'm sorry my last entry about biology was so dramatic. I just took my exam and it wasn't actually that bad. Nothing is really ever that bad once it's over with.

Biology is killing me. They might as well just pour spicy garlic sauce in my eyes and drain me of a liter of blood every time I go to class.

Lately I've found myself wishing that Pauline could give me another fake black eye electronically or something. There's something about the striken, horrified look on people's faces when they see someone walking by with a really gross injury that I find kind of amusing. It turns out that the only Thai restuarant in Quito is also the best Thai restaurant I've ever been to in my life. Yummy.

Pablo told me yesterday that the word Sara means 'corn' in Quichua, Ecuador's indigenous language. I made the mistake of telling that to my family and friends and am now am being referred to as 'Maiz' with a disturbing frequency.
