After reading up on the storyline of the original Spirit, I am greatly disappointed to find that the comic is NOTHING like the movie. Now I must find the comic. Harumph. Sigh. Poop.

So, I'm reading Joyce Carol Oate's "Foxfire" and I think it's pretty good. I think her writing style is something only for critics and students, but I find something admirable in it all. I think that she's not taking liberties on writing, but showing us that what we're reading is indeed writing? It's literature, it's reminding us that it's a book ( Read more... )
