Trouble at mill.
After 3.5 months of waiting for our restructuring to take its course I found out yesterday that I definately still have a job. Some snow, some music and a public service announcement
I had big plans...I'd been planning on spending a weekend in Queenstown for several months...I was going to see ice hockey...I was going to shake my bootie at the Shihad concert...amongst other things. Contrary to popular belief and the evidence from my live journal I didn't cease breathing back in July and soon you will be provided with proof of life. My current plan is to have a very leisurely drive up the South Island involving camping in Cromwell (for wine and fruit) and staying with oxyegene's folks in Timaru. I came I saw I tramped
4 days, 3 nights, 1 blister, 2 icy cold swims, 1 potentially embarassing fall into a tree and then head first into the ground that fortunately no one saw, several aching muscles, too much instant porridge, 2 stinky long drops, 1 fantastic brand new hut with flush toilets, 1 sibling with a buggered knee, one hell of a bad case of body odour, too ( Read more... )
