I've hated platforms for YEARS. I wouldn't even look in the direction of a platform shoe when shopping. But for some reason beyond my belief, my distaste for them have been on the wane. A side of me still thinks they're tacky and oh-so-not-chic, but with the right dress/outfit, it could work.
