Horses
My folks bought a 15-year-old gelding today. Older horses such as him are calmer and easier for beginner horse-riders to handle. My dad fits into that category...he has almost NEVER ridden. So this gelding will be my dad's horse ( Read more... ) -

City of Heroes
I got my /kin controller to max level today in CoH. Superspeed + Inertial Reduction + mouse (one that has buttons to adjust mouse sensitivity) will totally let me dominate this year's Christmas skiing event.
I can't wait! -
Hunt a success...eventually.
My co-workers took me hunting Friday. A quick hunt that we expected ultimately turned into six hours of driving through wheat-stubble fields and muddy creek bottoms, all the while following a crude Hutterite map that didn't follow road or fence boundaries very well (we only had permission to hunt on Hutterite land ( Read more... ) -
The New Super Mario Bros. Wii: Yay or Nay?
I'm curious about you folks' opinions on this, for those of you who've managed to get your hands on it. This is the first Mario game in a LONG long time that has sparked my interest.
