WILL called last night as our PBS pledge had lapsed and they asked what all we watched. After giving them that list, I asked if I could suggest other shows to put on and suggested Father Ted and that they get Dr. Who back. She had never heard of Dr. Who, but laughed when I said Father Ted and said she had heard of it

i didnt know you liked smallville! that is the show that mark and i have consistantly watched together since we started dating over three years ago. man, what a thrilling episode!

I have been a fan of Superman since I was a kid. I am sure I watched all of the original TV series with George Reeves as Superman many times each! Liked the Christopher Reeve ones as well. Totally enjoyed Lois and Clark, but think I enjoy Smallville most of all. This Clark is totally a hunk, too. Tonight's episode was great. I think we will see Lex continue his slide down the slippery slope into true villainhood as the season progresses. I think the writers are handling the progression well. A few things do not follow the original well (like him meeting Lois in high school), but I think the liberties they have taken are mostly OK. (The Kents were much older in the original also.) Can't wait for next week when things heat up with Lana! Hope Chloe is OK. Tonight was a nice introduction of the phantom zone, although it came with no explanation.
