Had to post somewhere really quickly, that I'm SUPER EXCITED.  I just paid off almost our ENTIRE "heavy" debt.  The credit card that has been weighing over us for our entire marriage.  The interest rate just went up to 20.9%, before the new laws went into effect, and that hit us hard.  So, with our tax refund, we paid off all but ~700!!!! :)  yay! I dont hate winter, but I certainly dont like it very much.  And I do hate being cold.  And I'm sick of it.

There are a few saving graces to wintertime:

• a soft, silent snowfall during the daytime.
• sledding and the rush of FUN as you speed down the hillside
• making snow men and snow angels
• Awesomely huge icicles, that look more like stalactites hanging ( Read more... )

Marks been wanting an xbox360 for a while, and has been bugging me about it, and ive been doing a lot of eye rolling. but i got him one today, as an early easter present. but with it, came the traditional easter egg scavenger hunt! each clue was in an easter egg, beginning with one on his placemat at the dinner table. he had to find all of them ( Read more... )

had lots of fun in Seattle. Im in San Fransisco now (sorry i didnt call you, beth!). i must say, it was quite a relief to exit the plane to 65 degrees and sunny. it was gorgeous. my cousin picked me up and we went to a neat park at the ports where they unload the cargo ships, and then we went out to a great dinner at Spettro in Oakland, which ( Read more... )
