It's Bruce. I don't know how to sign in to this. Don't even know what it is. Stumbled into it via your AIM away messsage. Nothing profound to say here, just that you're at that age when people begin to drift. When you're in high school you're all going to same place every day and it's all Vitamin C "Friends Forever" yada yada. Sadly, that just isn't so. When you're young young is all you know. And you're always going to be friends and you're always going to be there for each other. But you're not.
Life teaches us who our true friends are. Life, and adversity. True friends aren't the ones who are there for the party. They're the ones that are still there when the party's over.
You're a thoughtful person, Kate, and a good one. I'm glad I know you. And don't shut up.
