Surgery sucks and I hope it goes swimmingly. Just keep your eyes closed and think of your bunny...alone and bored in the darkness of the closet...then you might go to sleep on your own.
Good luck on your Instructor test! You know you will do fine, unless you are on some kind of painkiller, in which case I recommend postponing taking it...
