I just got out of my practice evaluation test and I really don't want to do anything but I am stuck at school for an hour and a half til Josh gets out of class. :(

This has been a crazy week.  I am SO ready to be out of school for the summer and in Texas and an hour away from the beach.

Why can't public schools educate their students appropriately and keep them safe? Why can't kids in poverty have access to the resources they need to be healthy and succeed?

I really should be reading, but I'm really sleepy.  I need to do the dishes and then read but I might take a quick nap first or at least watch tv or something.  I really like the classes this quarter but they're alot of work.  I've had to think too much today....this is all I've got

I have to say things are going pretty well.  I like my classes this quarter and I actually have a handle on the reading which is good because there sure is alot of it.  I have finished all the book reading for my practice class and I have finished the DSM-IV reading for psychopathology, now I just have to do the reading from the psychiatry book... So, I didn't get the internship...I was this close (fingers really close together).  They called me this morning and said they agonized about it and wanted to offer it to me and asked if they could take 3 people instead of two but her director said no because they are adding an extra psychology intern instead.  Ugh! Well, we got here yesterday.  Mom and Dad picked us up at the airport and then we came to their house.  Josh went to his parents' this morning I went to church and spent the day with my parents.  I'm about to go over to Josh's parents' house.  I wasn't really looking forward to coming home but now that I am here, I am glad.  It has kept my mind off ( Read more... )
