So I'm currently in Taiwan, but not for vacation.  My grandmother on my dad's side passed away two weeks ago, so I'm here to participate in the funeral.  Given that my grandmother was a devout Buddhist, the entire funeral will be done in the Buddhist tradition.  Which means spending nearly 8 hours a day at the temple folding paper items such as ( Read more... )

My Zune HD is so beautiful!  Of course, the Zune software messed up a lot of my song titles which really annoyed me given how particular I am about naming classical tracks.  And I had some FLAC and APE files that I had to basically duplicate into mp3 which is sort of a waste of space on my computer.  But whatev.  I'm still going to use Foobar for ( Read more... )

I'm a bit disappointed to get a solid B in 225. A B+ would have been more acceptable, but I can live with a B. It just means that I have to get an A in 220 to partially redeem myself. I still feel a little crappy. Throat is congested with phlegm. But otherwise I'm perfectly fine. 225 final was doable - if my mind was functioning. I'm hoping for at least a B+ in that class.
