Big dreams of traveling the world combined with money woes have deffinately gotten me down these days. An overall negative outlook and disposition has crept into my attitude. I fear the only thing that will kick it out is a lot of good luck, karma, and money falling from the sky no questions asked. Since I realize this is unrealistic I'm opting

There are always ways to travel cheaply y'know! You just end up having to forego the whole drinking-whenever-you-want, eating-whatever-you-want thing and leave everything up to the world a little bit more.

i know but i can't get full semester of college credit and travel cheaply. that is the whole draw to semester at sea because i could do what i love while getting some more school out of the way.

Ah je compre. Well good luck Kaite. I remember trying to shoot to travel on a ship for a while and it turned out to be a little tricker than I thought. That being said I wasn't super motivated so you definately have the upper hand!
