A couple weeks ago at work I got temporarily transferred into a different department.  Whereas before I was doing a bunch of chemistry and process engineering, now I'm doing a lot of mechanical engineering and design.  It's kind of ironic - only now after working there for six months am I actually doing anything remotely similar to what I was hired ( Read more... )

Mom and Dad are gone, off on their three week whirlwind tour of Greece and Italy. Jake (the dog), Calvin (the cat), and myself are the only ones left back at the homestead. Jake misses Mom and Dad a lot and has been moping around the house a bit, but he's still got his favorite playmate in the entire world (moi) so he's not too despondent. ( Read more... )
