Let's try this again, shall we?

So, about a month or so ago I was motivated to start writing again. I had all kinds of plans of chronicling the process of creating a home yoga practice, writing about some specific yoga-related topics, jotting down what I recalled from the recent S-I workshop I attended, etc, etc. And, true to form, my great ideas have come to mind and then fallen ( Read more... )

Keeping track of ideas ext_225467 February 19 2010, 05:33:28 UTC
I don't know how it works on livejournal, but when I have an idea for something that I know I'll want to write about at some point, I start a blog post with a few notes and save it as a "draft" until I'm ready to write it. This is the easiest way for me to remember all those "great ideas" that I might want to write about later.

Good luck! I'll be reading :)

And, BTW, I already miss you on facebook!

Thanks. That sounds like a good idea. I'll see if that's an option in LJ. It seems like it should be.

Darn. You're serious about FB? I will miss you there, so I'm glad you'll be here. Happy Birthday, BTW!

I am particularly interested in your topic of the core of the body. Through my years of dancing and training with a teacher who was more interested in teaching us to be strong dancers versus show dancers, I have been hearing about your "core" years before it became popular. Whenever I've dabbled in yoga (admittedly not a lot) I've always been surprised that teachers don't mention it. I would imagine that a strong core equates to being much more successful at yoga in many aspects.

I sent you some facebook birthday love, but fear you won't see it until next month or whenever your hiatus comes to an end. At which point, birthday long past, it won't mean much!

I miss you. This is a feeling that apparently never goes away, missing friends, missing parts, aspects, of the old life. Love reading about your ventures and your yoga.

Much love to all.

Birthday greetings are always appreciated - especially from good friends. Thank you.

I miss you, too. I'm getting tired of always saying that, but fear there never seems to be the time/money to remedy it. And then there's always the brief reconciliation followed by more missing...

I'm trying to write more. At least I'm thinking about trying to write more...

Hope you are all well.

xxoo
