I'd prefer it if you stayed around. No real reason, I just know I'd prefer it.

Dude, if you do move back to Texas, I will totally kick Kirk out and let you move in instead. He's on notice with me.

You know my take on you killing yourself. IMO, you should study the big picture:

The ultimate FAIL is to give up. To let the bad stuff drag you down and win. To give up and stop fighting. THAT is failing. As long as you stay alive, you're NOT failing, you're WINNING. So I say give it all the finger, tell it to (forgive me) fuck off, and keep winning. So what if you have to move back to Texas? You'd still be alive, and that means you HAVEN'T failed.

Suicide = FAIL
living = WIN.

You don't want to FAIL, so the answer is obvious. Hmmmm?

Don't leave, bub. We love you.

If you're headed east, you're welcome to crash on my couch for as long as needed. I could likely find you a job as well, where Rob works is often hiring and there are a couple places within walking distance of my apartment that are looking for people.

Just one more option to consider.

If you end up NYC with the lovely and vivacious thellano, just imagine the mischief we could all get into! Cherry red candy for everyone!

The crazy thing is, if you returned to Austin, I would actually consider that decision more sound. Your decision to move away did not appear sound or to follow any particular principle, but it was a long-held goal, and we honestly didn't discuss it much before you started down that path. While you did try to plan the move, it was one of desire and impulse. I respect you for trying it, man, because it is something for a long time you wanted, and you followed through. Have you learned from it? If the answer is yes, then the worth is proven, IMHO ( ... )
