6.. freaken long months and I still can't speak awesome. gah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in 7ama today.  I don't know what i'm doing here.

less than a month here. 
I wrote alot about this place. 70 pages now. Maybe one day I'll post everything that I wrote during my stay.

Somebody who will not be named gave me a Quran today.

After 5 months of not asking. "What does X think about human nature?" I finally have the opportunity and ability to ask. Like a taste of Swat, with a twist to the flavor. It's not about details anymore or about post-modernism jargon. It's about completely different schools of thoughts.

Something I did a while ago.

I will remember this week because:

1. I was almost arrested and deported from Syria
2. Somebody robbed me
3. I met somebody from Swarthmore, randomly

I heard loud sirens earlier today. Traffic Jams everywhere. Rumors of an explosion spread quickly...

Two hours later.

As I sat down to eat, a reporter on Al-3rabia announces in Arabic.
"Imad Mughniyeh, one of Hezbollah's top leader has been murdered, in Damascus"

Dude, I finally get it...

Americans are assholes.

I hope I'm not that much of an asshole too. But.. I probably am.
