1) Chick who played oh, what's the damn name... well, the main girl, Dr. Manhattan's woman. Anyway, that chick can't fucking act, and I could deal with that if she weren't basically the focus of the movie, but she is, so it was very distracting.
2) The sex scene. Overlong and overdone. I get what they were trying to illustrate, but it could've been done with a bit more subtlety.
All in all, I felt the novel took itself more seriously and thus had more of an impact. It's not an enormous difference, but for me, it is there, at least to the point where if asked whether I'd rather reread it or rewatch it, I'd go with reread.

Basically all the casting left something to be desired. Most of the actors did well enough, but they were obviously chosen based on appearance rather than ability. Zack Snyder is apparently not much of a director.
The sex scene was too long in the book, too. I'm convinced that Alan Moore just wrote in the script "Our audience consists almost entirely of teenage boys. Better work some tits in there if we want to keep their attention after all this blue wang."
