Manhood for Amateurs, michael chabon: it is always fascinating to read the thoughts that flit through the mind of an author i like very much. read with Home Game, michael lewis' book also about the travails of being a father in berkley. some of their stories overlap a little, but that is interesting in of itself. -jpz
