I've been sick with every bug crossing the doorstep. A solid week out of the shop last week was tough to take. Well, it sucked being that sick. But honestly, that time by myself was somewhat rejuvenating emotionally. I'm just sad I had to have the freaking flu to get some down time ( Read more... )

That is to say, the end of this bout of depression. When I can start looking up and around myself again. Stress has been too much, which made The Depression more acute. Vacation

We're taking a mini-cation this weekend, staying at Mom's beautiful place on the lake and playing at Silver Dollar City. Today, Ainsley & I rode on the tiny kiddy rides while Caleb & Matt rode roller coasters. Tomorrow, I'll get to do my one roller coaster (Wildfire) & hopefully do a bit of shopping.

Fishing

Papa took Ainsley & Caleb out on the dock to do a little fishing. This is Ainsley's first catch ever, a baby catfish. Caleb also caught a smaller catfish & a bass as well. That is, the pole that Caleb was assigned to got a bite - he wasn't actively fishing when the bass swallowed the hook...
