Sometimes--

Sometimes, it's really hard not to blurt out,

" OMFG! That is one of the ugliest things I've ever seen! You mean you spent time knitting that??

I mean, I know everybody gets to have their own taste. I do. But wow.

What do you think is really ugly? (I won't be offended if it has everything to do with socks, I promise!) ;-)

Yeah, I think that a lot too ;)

I liked the artistic photo of the cleaves, but really don't see a point to making it.

But I don't see a point to making a lot of things (like my new personal peeve that damn knitted robot from that movie - I am teh old & unhip and every time I see someone mention marvin, I think marving the martain from bugs bunny!).

And I sure don't feel the need to bring back the 70s via knitted items! I lived in the 70s - no need for more of that!

I liked the "natural" shot of Cleaves a lot better. That glamazon looks bemused and out of place.

Yeah, I think that now and again. I think the ugliest thing I've seen lately is the cover sweater on the new Knitters. It is seriously ick. That and most Lion Brand patterns, but I'm boycotting Lion Brand ever since they discontinued my beloved Cotton-Ease.

I think that sleevey thing is really cool!
But take a look at this:

I have NO idea what this is doing in my knitting patterns folder!

Dude. Those are butt-ugly knits. The Tards wouldn't even want them...

I hate ugly stuff. Knits that have too much going on (pick up any copy of InKnitters and you'll know what I mean)...

Muppet scarves. Knit body parts.

Remember: just because you can knit it, doesn't mean you should.
